At Decide for me (“we”, “the service”) we respect your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect when you use our website, how we use it, and what choices you have.
1. Data controller

2. Data we collect
Decide for me requires no registration and does not collect direct personal information. However, we automatically collect:
- Anonymous usage data via Cloudflare Web Analytics (cookieless): approximate country, device, and pages visited.
- Error reports: if a tool breaks in your browser, a technical report is sent so we can fix it: the error message, the page, the browser and system type and version, and the approximate country. It does not include your IP address, cookies or anything you type, and it cannot identify you.
- Browser data: your preferred language, theme, sound preference, your cookie choice and the lists you type in some games, stored locally.
- Advertising: we show Google AdSense ads. Until you accept advertising in the cookie notice, Google does not use advertising cookies and ads are not personalized.
3. Local storage (localStorage)
We save some preferences in your browser to improve your experience:
azar-theme: your dark or light theme preferenceazar-muted: whether you've muted soundsazar-lang: your selected language (also in a first-party cookie, so that entering through decidefor.me takes you to your language)azar-cookies-v2: your choice in the cookie noticeazar-names: the names you type in the list games, so you have them when you come back and in all of them; and, in some games, their own state (the bracket's matchups, who has been drawn in the name picker, the dice rolls you save, the beds in the bed picker, the bingo game, the teams, the order, the Secret Santa draw, truth or dare, the random letter generator, the task assigner or the slot machine; some only while the tab stays open). If you tap “Share”, the list goes inside the link you send, after the “#”: browsers never send that part to any server, so it never reaches us; only whoever opens the link sees it
This data is not sent to any server, except the language cookie: your browser sends it to decidefor.me only to take you to your home page, and it is not stored anywhere. It stays in your browser and you can delete it from your browser settings at any time.
4. Cookies and third-party services
We use the following external services:
- Cloudflare: hosting, CDN, and cookieless anonymous analytics.
- Google AdSense: serves the site's ads using Google Consent Mode. Without your permission it does not use advertising cookies and ads are not personalized; if you accept, it may use cookies to personalize them and measure their performance. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites; Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on those visits. You can opt out of personalized advertising in Google Ads Settings and, for other vendors, at aboutads.info or youronlinechoices.eu. You can change your choice at any time from the cookie policy. 5. Your rights (GDPR)
As a user in the European Union (or under similar regulations elsewhere), you have the right to:
- Access any personal data we hold about you
- Request its correction or deletion
- Withdraw consent at any time
- File a complaint with your local data protection authority
6. Minors
Decide for me is not specifically directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from minors. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with information, please contact us.
7. Changes to this policy
We reserve the right to update this policy. The “Last updated” date indicates when it was last modified. It is your responsibility to review it periodically.
